Developer plans can change. This page separates announced plans from released features.

When does Season 3 start?

November 12 is the date named by brammflakes in a Steam response marked as a developer reply. A second developer reply repeats the date. Both replies are marked as developer responses on Steam.

The date is an announced future plan. The replies do not give an exact launch time, maintenance window, or downtime estimate. Check for a later developer update before planning around a specific hour.

What is planned for Limited Mode?

The October 23 developer reply says Season 3 brings Limited Mode servers without power weapons or vehicles. It does not provide a complete restricted-item list, server-region list, or separate progression rules.

The complete Limited Mode rules are still unconfirmed in these announcements.

What do we know about the next wipe?

The developer describes the earlier Season 3 as a fresh start after Season 2 progression moved too quickly. That statement does not enumerate every account field that will reset or carry over.

A complete Season 3 retention checklist still needs verification, including Vault inventory, unlock purchases, and conversion details. Do not infer an exact reset time from a release date alone.

Are Intel, Skills, and Gunsmith Season 3 features?

Intel is targeted for Q2 2027 in BULKHEAD’s October 24 podcast. The proposed seasonal resource resets, with a daily earning pace, slower continued earning for heavy players and accumulated allowance for missed playtime. Players would spend it on desired equipment rather than following the current linear role unlock path.

The proposed Skills system turns role XP into points for role-specific trees with passive benefits and larger capstones. Skills are intended to persist across seasons. A complete tree and launch date are not established.

These are development plans, not released mechanics or confirmed Season 3 additions. Gunsmith delivery remains unverified in this reference.

How long will future seasons last?

The podcast proposes seasons of roughly three months with a smaller update halfway through, and describes shortening Season 2 to four or five weeks. This is a tentative cadence, not an immutable calendar.
