WARDOGS progression: roles, XP and reward tracking

Track access requirements and actual rewards separately. An equipment unlock does not establish the XP payout for using it.

Are roles fixed classes?

The official FAQ describes player-defined roles: specialist equipment shapes a loadout and earns progress across six tracks. It does not describe a mandatory class selection.

The six role tracks are Assault, Medic, Recon, Support, Driver and Pilot; WARDOG tracks overall progression.

Why old XP guides can disagree

Season 1 deliberately changed the weekend-beta XP curve; the studio said seasonal curves and item ordering could differ. The later Season 2 backend correction changed Driver progression again.

Use the Level Up tool’s evidence labels. Community-reported Season 1 kill, revive or spotting rewards do not become verified Season 2 values because several guides repeat them.

Compare earning methods fairly

Practical guidance: record starting and ending cash, the relevant role XP, match duration and supply spending. Keep the server modifiers, faction, location and action constant when comparing two methods. A cash increase is not automatically role XP.

The exact current reward formula for every action, distance multiplier, delivery streak and event combination remains incomplete. Repairs, refueling, transport and supplies should be tested independently instead of grouped under one assumed logistics rate.
